LOCKWOOD P. HOLMES
Lockwood P. Holmes is President and CEO of Poole Management Company, a portfolio management and holding company which invests in a variety of businesses including land development; real estate; residential home building; residential and commercial footer, slab, block wall, framing, and drywall subcontract service to the construction industry. Recently, the portfolio has expanded to the medical industry with investments in the field of sleep study and occupational health/urgent care. Additionally the company has partnered with an organization which manages a substantial tax lien portfolio with investments throughout the United States.
Prior to Poole Management Company, Mr. Holmes served as President and CEO of Holmes Lumber Company; and subsequently, Builder First Source following the sale of Holmes Lumber Company to Builders First Source. He also serves as a consultant, and has served as a member of the Board of Director for a variety of banking enterprises, shell contractors as well as non profit and faith-based organizations.
For many years, he was the Jacksonville Teaching Leader for BSF International. Currently, Mr. Holmes serves on ministry boards and is a Trustee at his church.
Mr. Holmes is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Lee High School and Valdosta State College with a major in business and accounting. Mr. Holmes is married to Patricia O’Steen Holmes, and they have two married sons. Both sons’ families have added 3 incredible grandchildren, two grandsons and one granddaughter and one on the way.
His passion is to encourage others to know about and trust God’s gift to the world, “Jesus.” To experience the life offered through the community, and discipleship offered through the local church, and to share His love throughout.
